Portal access is secure and only available via links from NHS diabetic eye screening programmes. Users are invited to register by text, email, or letter.
*All first-time users must create an account; otherwise, your NHS number will not be recognised. (This is not an NHS app)*
A validation code is sent by email or SMS and must be entered within a limited time. Users can update contact details via the form below if needed. After setting a password and confirming details, the account is ready to use.
When changing an appointment:
Access to the on-line portal is via the link/scan code in your letter or on our website
Whilst we hope use of the site is easy for our service users, we have provided a step by step video, on our website
Technology changes constantly and we do our utmost to keep up to date. We are working on linking the on-line portal to the NHS App for ease of use for our service users.
Whilst appreciating that new diagnosed service users will not be used to receiving communications from us. We will contact you in regard to your annual / bi-annual screening appointment only and more frequently if you have missed an appointment.
Appointments are only available for 30 days ahead, at time of booking. If you have been unsuccessful, please contact the administration team via ‘contact us’, to make an appointment.
Appreciating how frustrating this can be, due to the connectivity speed, it is likely to do the same again if repeated. We therefore advise that you contact the administration office via ‘contact us’.
To improve access, we hold clinics in multiple locations and on different days each week. Our purposely designed appointment system ensures efficiency in our bookings and shown evidenced of higher attendance. We can appreciate that busy lives make it difficult to attend appointments at particular times for our service users. We ask that you either amend your appointment to a suitable time on the on-line portal or telephone the administration team via ‘contact us’, to amend an appointment.
