NEC run the South West London Diabetic Eye Screening on behalf of the NHS. The programme is fully compliant with NHS standards and policies. Anybody living with diabetes aged 12 and over who is registered to a GP in this region will be automatically invited to attend a diabetic eye screening appointment. You will be invited to the clinic closest to your home address.

It is extremely important you do not drive to your appointment. As the drops we use will cause your vision to become blurry and sensitive to light, this can invalidate your license. We recommend you use public transport or arrange somebody to take you to your appointment, select your clinic location above to find out more information on bus routes.
If you cannot use public transport and unable to arrange for somebody to bring you, you may be eligible for volunteer or non-emergency hospital transport. Please note: You may have to meet certain criteria, and volunteer transport may require a donation.

Patients will be asked eligibility questions by the tab team. Admin are to email TAB team with appointment confirmation.

Transport could be arranged by the patient’s GP. Advise them to call their GP, if their GP cannot arrange transport, the alternative would be to book an appointment for an above venue where there are transport options.
